The Dashboard Admin can create, modify or eliminate devices that have access to the platform through the device management panel. To access it is necessary to click on thebutton, located on the top right corner of the page and once there, in the drop-down menu, click Devices.

Once in the panel, you will notice that each device is listed with an ID, Name, Buildings and Collective (as we have pointed in previous articles this will only work if Devices and Collective feature are active).

Devices are automatically registered when used for positioning in a building, and also their assignment when MRM is operative. This avoids having to manually register the devices.

Therefore, it is NOT necessary to register the devices as they are automatically registered when the positioning is started.

CREATE, EDIT AND DELETE DEVICES

To create a new device it is necessary to click on  New device at the top right corner of the page:

A pop-up form will appear in which the only mandatory field will be the Device ID, which is the only one marked with an asterisk (*), the rest of the fields are optional but useful.

In the Groups (Colectives) and Buildings section of the form, you can mark as many or as little as you wish. This will, in turn, make the device available for the collectives and buildings you have selected.

Note: Please take into consideration that even if a device can be available for more than one user, these should not have the same working shift.

Devices information can be edited by clicking on, which, as per usual, is located on the right side of the list of devices.

Once clicked, a pop-up form similar to the one we used to create the device, will appear, but with all the fields already filled. It is important to take into account that once the field (s) we want to modify is done, the Update button should be clicked so that all changes are saved in the system.

A device can be erased by clicking on . Once clicked, the following pop-up will appear, and then the action needs to be confirmed by clicking on the Delete button. This cannot be undone. So you must be sure that you want to erase the device because once confirmed, all data related to the device will no longer be available.
