Provided that the user is in a building configured with Situm, Situm can compute the shortest route to anywhere within that building: specific coordinates, points of interest, etc. If you want to compute Outdoor routes (that is, from/to points outside of a Situm building), you may want to use outdoor navigation providers such as Google Maps.
The route is computed very efficiently on the smartphone, without the need to query the Situm cloud. For instance, in the following image we see that, to go from point A to point B, there are many possible routes. However, Situm is able to compute the shortest one.
Point A and B do not have to be in the same floor: Situm can compute routes that traverse multiple floors.
